About me - G. Schettino

aboutme

Hi!

I'm thrilled to be part of this great site! It has brought me many hours of pleasure but mostly, it makes me think about things. So many topics get covered on this site, it just astounds me sometimes. I mostly like to write and read articles that make me stop and think. To really concentrate on how things look through someone else's eyes.

I have 2 granddaughters and a grandson who I adore. I have recently moved back to the east coast and am thrilled to be near them again.

I have a cocker spaniel, Sasha...she is 6 years old and my best friend in the whole-wide-world! I bet you already fell in love with her picture...tell the truth...

All my life I have wanted to write but only a couple of months ago did I decide to join this site and see what I could do. I have lots to learn, no doubt about that, but I am loving the experience, anyway.

After being involved with Helium for a period of time, I decided to take some courses to help me become a better writer. I am now enrolled at Long Ridge Writers Group and so far, feel that I am learning new things and hopefully improving my writing skills.

I would love feedback on my articles or just to be in touch with other writers. My e-mail is ginaschett@hotmail.com

I am the type who has to analyze everything, and frankly put, I want proof. Because of this, I consider myself agnostic. I have always had a difficult time believing in a higher power. The odd part is, I really want to believe but I'm one of those people who needs proof.

Somehow, with age, I find myself leaning more to the pros of believing. This, in fact, may be common among older people. Those who have struggled for yea...
