About me - Jonnie Chastain

About me

I am a 75 year old Texan who was transplanted to Tennessee almost 15 years ago.

When I retired in Nov. of 1995 people kept asking me, "What are you going to do?" My answer was always, "All the things I've not had time to do while working and raising a family."

One of those things was writing. I've always been inspired by a blank sheet of paper and soon learned that a blank screen could be just as inviting.

Now people ask if I make any money writing for Helium. I say, "Not really, but that is okay, I would be willing to pay them for letting me write."
