I am a retired Helium steward covering movies in the entertainment channel, I find myself with little free time on my hands at present, but am more than happy to lend a hand where needed.
Without any training or previous experience I stumbled upon review writing in 2005. Over the last few years my writing has improved, hopefully drastically. I now make a reasonable second income writing reviews in books, publications, and online review websites. I try to write in a manner everyone can understand, none of this reading while sat with a dictionary trying to identify the meaning behind the big words I have learned this week, I put this factor down to my continued success.
In joining Helium I was unsure of my writing ability, and while I know I have an awful lot to learn, entering into the spirit of things and writing an article that gets to the number 1 spot sometimes over 100 other writers is a thrill and a buzz that money simply cannot buy. Helium provides a certain joy that no other site of its type can deliver.
A big fan of movies my heart lies in the world of horror. My passion is Italian thrillers also known as Giallo, and Italian Horror.
I now work full time writing on review sites and printed publications.

Hellraiser was incredibly popular but followed by the awful Nightbreed and half a dozen Hellraiser sequels (Not written by Barker by still attributed to him). Candyman again bought the author great visual acclaim, but again was followed by lesser quality movies and y...
