In our house we use a point system. The jobs are given and each child knows their jobs and when they are expected to do it or have it done. On our fridge, we have a chart that has points equal to each job/chore. The points also have $$ value beside them. Do the job, earn the points, receive the cash. Don't do the job, lose the points and the $$ is deducted from earnings. No earnings this week, means the child begins next week in debt. We also use the "favour" method - I do jobs like cleaning etc. out of love, but I also do favours like drive me here, pick me up from there, etc.. I...
