About me

Working in an Operating Theatre as a medical Technician is very mentally and physically demanding. However enormously rewarding.
My forte is Gynaecology-Obstetrics along with many other and skill mixes.

My role is to assist in the delivery of many countless screaming babies I myself still shed a tear or two on occasions; even after 10 years of being in the business.
The rewards you get from being in such a prime position are tremendous, helping and caring for people all day long is an enormous task.
Why, you have given so much care into caring, by the time you arrive home you're empty and can not care any longer.
So my philosophy is cycling to and from the hospital where I work at, purely for relaxation.
My journey home gives me enough time; especially on the homeward journey, where I can reflect on my day at the hospital, a chance to wind down. So I am completely calmed out by the time I step foot in the door.
A Life working in an Operating Theatre is quite amazing; working with so many very skillful and talented people. Working with some of the best surgeons and anaesthetists in the country and to observe them in practice is quite remarkable.

This role demands you to be part of a multi skilled team, to take criticism and be shouted at by the surgeons.
Remembering you too deserve some respect, remembering that you are undertaking this role for those in question; not yourself.
Think! It could be your relative!
It is a fine line taking everything personally, because the surgeon can and does get very irate at times, Because He himself is concentrating and wishes everything to go as smoothly and safely as possible.
There's no truer word spoken when applying for a position in health care, when they ask for care experience, you cannot take this lightly. Experience is an asset.
When you have been successful and found your forte working in a Care; the hardest thing you will ever find, is leaving! So don't join up if you are planning a short stop over.
Having experienced my daughter's birth I would have never dreamed that I would end up delivering babies myself.
We had tried many times for a baby and had no luck at all until one single trip abroad change my life for ever.
A Gypsy lady stopped us in the street outside sloppy Joe's, Ernest Hemingway's place of thought.
She offered us a gold trinket; we took it and rewarded her with some small change.
She reached out too my wife and gave her tummy a stroke, indicating; via sign language that she was having a baby. We laughed our socks off.
From start to finish during our vacation in Florida, my wife had been unwell and she worsened throughout. We thought she had picked up a bug!
For reasons I will never know, she carried out a pregnancy test costing around 50 pounds whilst in key Biscayne.
It was well worth it; low and behold she was pregnant.
Things were much clearer; she had been unwell from the start of our holiday to the end.
We eventually had a little girl called Danielle, who also needs pampering.
Now at the age of 16yrs, she needs to be pampered; because she has to look her best has a member of the Royal Ballet; National youth ballet; English ballet.

Most people choose to take their vacations abroad, in the search of the sunnier climates, not like here in the UK, especially this summer of 2008.
