: About Me

Hmmm, my bio. Well I live in Texas and work for the State at this time. I have been with the state for 10 years. I'm a supervisor and though I love the people I work with, and I love my job, it's not a job I plan to keep forever. (face it pay is horrible, most of us state employees (about 90%) would make more money flipping burgers, so though it's a secure job to have, turnover keeps getting worse and worse.)

At the moment I'm also attending college in hopes to start my own buisness as a graphic artist, or just an artist. (praying the ol saying "starving artist" will not apply in this day and time.) I love to write (also hoping to do a graphic novel soon, and a childrens book), but as one of my professors pointed out to me years ago "Tracie, you'll probably be famous one day, but your spelling and grammer suck." *shrugs* Writter, artist, or state employee, my whole world revolves around my family whom I love dearly. (by the way *S*....that professor also volunteered to be my publisher if I ever do get around to writting a book, hence I'll probably have to look her up and one of my old teachers whom also said I'd be a great author).

Oh...and one other thing. I'm a girl....*shrugs*..Hence the reason for speaking in circles, switching from one subject to another, AND knowing everything. (*coughs*...actually I don't know EvErYtHiNg....YET...but I'm also a seeker of knowledge and I will share everything I learn, read, or experience with you.)

My favorite memory ...

My daughter when she was around 2 would force my eye open while I was asleep with her tiny hand and smile and say "I love you mama". My son at three when I was sick brought me a blanket and told me "When I grow up I'm gonna get a job and help you out and take care of you". (I was a single mom back then, recently divorced.

Why I write ...

I love it...and I'm HIGHLY opinionated (in other words I don't believe in being kind when it's time for a firm lashing verbally)

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Listening to my daughter trying to win a game.

My first job ...

Flipping burgers...(yep always start from the bottom, other wise you don't appreciate your achievements

My best moment ...

My husband and I sitting on the back porch of the hotel in Saint Lucia. *purrs*...soft warm air, beautiful large plants, humming birds, large blue ocean, both of us kicked back in the warm sun listening to the hum of people laughing in the background and the ocean waves hitting the rocks.

My inspiration ...

To find work part time either writting, or as an arist.

Sometimes your not sure what to call it. Bare Escentuals...Bare Minerals...i.d. bareMinerals. Needless to say with everyone going natural it's hard to find whom is whom.
