I always find it hard to write "About Me" sections. I suppose it's mainly because I'm a humble individual who never likes to brag about my accomplishments. But in order for you to know about me, I will tell you a little about myself.
My love of writing began in elementary school when my first grade class had to write a story. My story "The Fox and the Duck," won out of the entire first grade level and was showcased in the cafeteria. Throughout high school I tried several different genres: sci-fi, drama, crime & mystery, and romance.
Since then I have published one book, several dozen articles, several more dozen blog posts and reviews, and a few biographies and web content.
I write to bring characters alive. I write to experience the joys and sadness's of different situations. When someone reads something I wrote and come away feeling touched, I know that I've been a successful writer.
I have a life other than writing and I use that life (and all of the joys and heartaches that come with it) to make my writing better.

Do you see the parents of the children nearby, watching and waiting to see if the children need help? Would you believe this is not really the way it goes?
