As a creative individual, the world around me is a huge source of relentless, inspiring stimuli.
My fascination with the artistic process and my active involvement in its continuing developments, inevitably result in the creation of written work, music, poetry, sculpture, drawing, installations, performances and a deluge of ideas, theories and questions. These form the backbone of my existence and fuel my appetite for new ideas and approaches to my artistic practice and the way I conduct my life.
Art as a subject harbors many difficulties, it is a fluid concept, notoriously difficult to pin down and define, philosophers, artists and theorists have [ and probably always will ] struggle and wrestle with its complex and continually changing nature.
Arts elusive nature is infinitely appealing to me, I practice and study it with admiration.
I do hope that my writing here with helium influences others to join the undercurrent of creativity that flows throughout the world and to consider the impact individual creativity has upon our day to day lives.

The drum kit is, as the name suggests a set of instruments, each with an individual tone and character. The importance of an overall blend of tone throughout the drum kit cannot be over exaggerated, once one has obtained that satisfying unified sound from the entire drum kit, it is time to break it all down again.
