I am a retired middle aged woman who loves to write. I've had some publishing success but needed a good home to just keep going and frankly to keep my interest. I love reading other individuals work and I love watching my reputation build through the rating system.

The opportunity to share and debate my opinions is another facet of Helium that I love.

I am a "Nature Nellie", as my family lovingly phrases. I love my family and my pets. Living in a great long term marriage to my hero has given me a good perspective on relationships. We share a huge love of cooking!

Mainly I love knowledge, learning and the global information highway. There is nothing I won't listen to.

I believe in a proactive approach to life and not being fooled by the gossamer politics in the American system of government.

The summer of my 14th year had the possibility of Magic! I was about to wear my first two piece bathingsuit to the community swimming hole. On top of that I was meeting my first boyfriend.
