Born to a Greek mother and Turkish father, I wrote poetry since I was a very young child. I lived in Egypt, France and Brazil, and my fluency in 4 languages has enabled me to read the works of poets in their native languages such as Rumi, Gibran, Paulo Coelho and Rimbaud. I have a Masters degree in International Relations and worked with refugees for many years. Today I live in Los Angeles, California where I home-school my two children in the school of life; a mother, a poet, and a seeker of the divine within.
Salvation Witness the ache inscribed within .. line after line That you may finally unbar the truth by the mere wisdom of living Indulge in the sweet fire of life so the conquest be deserved Plow a path to salvation for today is unlike any other Rise from the embers of your bleeding heart Driven by the shear force of life Who you are shorn of sin Who you are unearthed from the rubble of today Seek to heal the ail of a time long-passed Excuse the insanity - it will not last
