Who, What, When, Where and Why. Those 5 W's that my old journalism teacher taught me so long ago still ring true. That, and telling the truth in a way that makes it interesting enough for people to read. I love news stories, but many times they tend to be too "dry" for consumption. Take the reader from something, through something, to something and you will never fail.

Writing, collecting, my children and my wife. My beliefs and the life the creator has given me.

I know too much about ...

Everything. Which makes me a generalist. A generalist is someone who knows less and less about more and more until he knows absolutely nothing about everything. As opposed to a specialist who knows more and more about less and less until he knows everything about nothing.

My parents always told me ...

Be honest. It's hard, believe me.

My childhood ambition ...

Was to be Superman. I once jumped off my front porch with a towel tied around my neck. After that, I wanted to be a doctor.

Many, many, many days with my children and my wife.

It's therapy and it's fun. It's an outlet at the end of a hard day

Steamboat Springs in May Alabaster avalanche, falling from the sky, I look up and I can see, You drifting from on high. Each an individual, with different shape and form, Delicate in pattern, created by the storm. The sculptor of a new landscape, In the whitest clay. And your graceful floating motion, decorates a winter day. And when at last the sun comes out, to see the blow you've dealt, You nestle in brown grass below, And then so quickly melt.
