I am 24 years old and live in Ogden, Utah. I love to write, and really enjoy my thoughts being read by others. I have been married for nearly 5 years and have no children. I maintain a neutral stance in politics as I believe that Republicans have their good and bad as do Democrats, and at this juncture in my life do not want to choose between these two evils.

I started collecting books about two years ago. There is a lot of information out there on this hobby, but mostly for professionals who know what they are looking for. I decided to write a very brief beginners guide to book collecting. Rule #1 Watch out for book club editions. In general, these are not worth nearly as much as the real deal. An easy way to spot a BCE is if there is no price listed anywhere on the book. Rule #2 Get first editions. The easiest way to find out if it is a first edition is to check the copyright page.
