: About Me

Yours truly since 1993,

My name is obvious - you should already know it by now. If you don't, you've failed the reading test already so stop now before you hurt yourself.

I'm a fourteen year old attending school for the 9th time - yes, that's right, I'm a freshman, and very proud to have come this far. When I was in kindergarden I was convinced that I was never going to make it... of course nine years was a long time for a five year old...

But! Life being freshmeat has been fun! One of my many passions is music, and I play flute in my band. Yes, I'm bragging when I say I am first chair and an honor band participant. I love to write as you can see. I've actually been working on an unfinished book and a number of stories and I intend to take advanced Language Arts/English courses all throughout high school. I probably like writing a lot because I like languages and find it kind of easy to pick up language. I'm taking French II and I hope to be able to go to Paris and any other francophone countries in the future.

I'm a Jesus chick. I find my identity in Christ and He's loving me everyday with all that He's got. He's beautiful and He's my Father and the Holy Romantic. I wouldn't be me without Him because we cannot separate. He loves me even though I have all kinds of issues - trust me, I do - and He heals my heart even when things get tough or seem impossible. (By the way, He loves you like that too) He gives me the passion I have for writing and is my sole inspiration on any writing that I can claim to be good.

I'm also an ex-video gamer and an internet junkie. I build websites - or used to build. I don't have as much time anymore, but I do enjoy graphic design with my lovely Adobe Photoshop CS2. I used to spend my weekends like a nerd does and I'd play video games with the boys all day long (thank goodness I don't do that anymore!). Aaaaaaand I found this website while surfin' because at fourteen there aren't a lot of good money making jobs out there!
I enjoy drawing too - I'm never gonna get anywhere with it, though. Manga. Yeah.

Why I write ...

Because it's the one way that I can express myself the best, like painting with words. I can also make a big difference in the lives of people through what I write. I'm better with writing words that with speaking them sometimes.

Well, I haven't had an official company job yet, but I've built small websites for people.
