Writing has been a life long passion. I got my start in the newspaper biz before manning the mike as a radio journalist, before finally landing in television as a news assignment editor. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English from Northern Michigan University.
My return to freelance writing finds me opining in a how-to fashion. Not really my forte, but I want to rebuild my resume going forward and enjoy taking a cue from the Helium article prompts. I'm not here to 'saturate' Helium with a bunch of articles. I enjoy giving well thought out discourses on subjects, but sometimes I have to push myself to write. I find I cannot post something until I feel it deserves merit.
God gifted me in both hemispheres but trouble at times with getting the two halves of my brain to communicate as one. It doesn't help that I'm now legally blind and trying to write for a site with tiny text! But, my skills as a writer have been underutilized for too long and I am hoping to change that.

Time to collect yourself. You've just been fired and despite the reasons given for your termination, your head is in a crisis with all the 'why' questions. Moving on is difficult until there is some resolution.
It's not always easy after you've been told your services are no longer required. There is the matter of blame. It's easy to quickly finger the boss. It was a conspiracy or we just didn't get along.
