Ben Jonson was an Elizabethan poet and playwright who has had several of the Bard's plays attributed to him by historians but is equally famous for his own works and original views in poetry, writing, and the English language. Jonson exhibits a strong sense of pride in all of his works and actions which gives a stronger, more confident emphasis to both his poetry and other written work.
