I was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada and that's where I reside as of now. I'm 18 and I'm a student at CompuCollege in the Pharmaceutical Technician program.

I enjoy writing here on Helium and I rarely stray from the Poetry Coffee House.

It's taken me time to breathe again
now the weight of your face
holds my feet to the ground

and when I heard your voice today
I wound fingers through my hair
to pull at thoughts of you
and I felt the echo of your skin
on my back.

I can feel you still

because you've left the imprint of your lips
on my cheek.
