If you want to take a cruise and partake in scuba diving, I suggest the live-aboard cruise, which allows for better dive sites and more time on an actual dive. However, if you are going on a big ship or a luxury cruise, you can still make the most of your dive trip by following a few simple steps:

1) Make sure you check your itinerary before you leave and then hunt the internet to see which ports offer the best diving. In the Caribbean there are some dives in St. Thomas, but it isn't a top dive spot, so you might want to spend the day in port shopping rather than looking at dead coral...
