: About Me

I am the mother of four terrific children, one daughter and three sons. Only the two younger boys are at home. My oldest son and daughter are on their own. I was born and raised in British Columbia but have been here in Ontario for the last three years, we are moving back to B.C. this summer. My significant other is a longhaul truck driver and is usually only home for maybe forty days out of a year, he spends anywhere from four to six weeks at a time on the road. We plan on purchasing property in B.C. within the next couple of months. My two older children and the rest of my family are all out west so I am looking very forward to moving back. I miss the smell of the ocean and the breath taking scenery. I wear many different hats so to speak, I work outside of the home and also run the household and all that goes along with that, at times it can all be very overwhelming but I wouldn't want it any other way. I love life and seem to learn something new almost everyday. I enjoy writing and never seem to be short on having something to say or to write about. I would say that I am very open minded and don't feel the need to conform to other's ideals or opinions, diversity is what makes all of us unique. I like body art and piercing, I see the body as a canvas to expression. We have had and raised pitbulls for many years and I have a great admiration and respect for the breed. I work hard to promote this breed in a positive and responsible manner. I do not like dishonest people and those out there that pretend to be something or someone that they are not. I have no use for arrogance or self righteousness. I respect those that try and make a difference in this world, kindness, tolerance, and compassion can go a long way.

I felt compelled to write on this topic because I think it has become a huge problem. I am originally from the west coast of Canada but have spent the last three years living in one of the eastern provinces where in my opinion I feel that prescription meds are greatly over prescribed. The pharmaceutical of choice here seems to be Percocet. Percocet is a narcotic analgesic which is most commonly prescribed and used to treat moderate to severe pain.
