My first experience getting paid for writing came over 20 years ago, when I first sold humorous copy to a greeting card company. Besides that, I've dabbled in poetry, fiction, and have just recently taken a more serious interest in non-fiction writing.
I'll have to get a bigger and better picture up for my profile, I think. To be honest, I'm not even sure that's me.
All kidding aside, Helium is a great community that provides me the opportunity to express my opinion on a variety of topics, hone my writing skills, and get my bizarre humor and viewpoints out to a wide audience. It's been a rewarding experience, so far.
