I am a Jazz/Nu Jazz singer and songwriter. I'm over forty but I have a passion for inspiring people to follow their hearts no matter what their age is. I try to inspire the young as well as the not so young. My philosophy is that life is meant to be lived to the fullest and though we may stumble through life, everything can teach us a lesson if we let it. These are the types of songs I write. I feel that I have something to give the world. I strive to give that "something" to the world so that my life will not have been in vain.
I have an EP out on CD Baby and on My Space entitled "Do What You Love". The release of that CD is a miracle unto itself. It was born of an intense desire to follow my heart. I didn't have the money to do it but I did it anyway. There are only two people on this CD, myself and my friend Jamie Peck who did the wonderful arrangements for the music.
I am now working on a second CD that should be released early in 2008. I am living testimony that if you want it bad enough, you can have the desires of your heart.
I am classically trained and once sang in a band which opened for R&B acts like McFadden & Whitehead, The Gap Band, The Bar-kays, Millie Jackson, and Jerry Butler. Most recently, I did background vocals for Gary Wright singer of "Dream Weaver".
My other passion is writing. That is why I am here. I've made a decision to only follow my passions anymore. It's not an easy road but it's a very worthwhile one!

It's too easy to think that this partner is "mean", "cold", "hard-hearted", or "stubborn". That's the easy way out. Your spouse feeling "hopeless" is a term that is worth considering. When one partner is hopeless, there is no incentive to try and no incenti...
