I am a wife, mother and preschool teacher. My daughter is 8 years old and absolutely the light of my life. I chose to take the year off from teaching to spend time with my family and help my dad who was battling cancer. My dad has since had surgery and testing and he is working toward living cancer free! (Amen!) This year has given me many opportunities to grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally and has helped me get back to my true hearts desire of writing.
I love to read, write, scrapbook, plan and cook meals, and spend time with my family. I very much enjoy participating in an international Bible study called Bible Study Fellowship. They have classes all around the world where people from any age, nationality, gender and style can come together to study the Bible. All classes study the same lesson each week, no matter where they are. It has truly been the most spiritually uplifting Bible study I have ever participated in and I highly recommend searching for one in your area if you are the least bit interested in a very good study of God's word.
I am a Christian woman and I am doing my best to live my life for Jesus. That does not, however, mean that I do not continue to mess up plenty in my life. I have accepted that being close to God helps me to make decisions that suit my life according to His plan, but I am still and will forever be a work in progress.
