I am lucky enough to have been able to retire early which means I am now able to devote as much time to my writing as I like.
I have always enjoyed writing and over the years have had articles, poetry and short stories published in various magazines. I have recently finished by first novel, Mary's Mail, The Menopause Period, which is now available on www.amazon.co.uk and www.amazon.com This is the humorous story of three menopausal women, Mary, who can see the funny side of most things until tragedy strikes, but gossip and an unexpected liaison keep her going. Celia, finds it hard to get on with anyone until she hires a builder, then lust takes over, and finally, Em, whose family members provide her with one problem after another. Her husband, Robin's, head is turned when a new couple move in next door with an 'open' marriage.
I am now working on a completely different type of novel set in a povety stricken part of London in the 1870's.
When not writing I enjoy Genealogy, Photography, Digital Art, Travelling. I live on the south coast of England and have four children, and four grandchildren.
