It's almost like you fill up a needle And inject it into my veins You stimulate my mind ,my body And temporarily release my pain Like an addict fiends for their fix and their drugs become obsessions I pursue a lost cause and I fiend for you affection Something about this love Has me wanting more Yet the more I get I'm discontent Because it fails to grasp what's in the core We scream at each other words we wish we don't comprehend We cling on like bloodsucking leeches to this relationship that won't bend I try to understand the purpose Of a love so complex But questions are left unanswered ...
