About me - Ginger Kazay

About me

I have been writing articles for Helium for more than five years now and have won a few awards in their wonderful contests. I used to write two blogs for the now defunct writingup.com and Ginger's Health Corner at Communati. com (see my link). For fun and a little bit of cash, I write at myLot.com as "speakeasy". If you want to join me there, I have a referral link on my page here.

I am currently a Technical Customer Care Agent for a  top 10 cable service provider helping customers with cable TV, internet and phone problems.  Before that I spent 3 years as a Customer Service Agent for a road-side assistance company  rescueing stranded motorists all over the United States and Canada.

I am a part-time Insurance Agent and have been active in financial services for more than 12 years. I started out in financial securities and life insurance; then, expanded to health insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and property insurance. Currently, I have "cut back" and am specializing in health and life insurance.

I am also a First Degree Black Sash in Emperor's Long Fist Tai Chi, pet-owner,  wife, and mother.

In the past, I served in the United States Air Force for 20 years in both electronics and personnel management.  I also had jobs selling shoes, stocking products for a major discount retailer, installing car stereos for dealerships and private individuals, working on an assembly line cleaning and repairing telephones.  I had a small kiosk in a mall, made and sold crafts, gardened, hiked, rode motorcycles and I have sold on eBay. I have a lot of expertise in many subjects and am constantly learning more.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

writing and helping others.

I know too much about ...

a little bit of everything, like a sponge I absorb things around me.

My childhood ambition ...

to be a veterinarian, but, I was too soft hearted to do the necessary lab research.

Why I write ...

to help others and pass on my knowledge.

My first job ...

was picking blackberries on a farm during summer vacation
