: About Me

I am a 53 year old, mother of two, grandmother of four great, (of course) grand children! I live with my husband of 34 years, and enjoy writing, reading, spending time with my grand children, and going to yard sales! I absolutely LOVE going rummaging.

I collect dolls. I adore them all! I don't care if they are valuable...if they strike a spark within my heart, I have to have them. I have well over 100 dolls.

I work part time at a local convenience store. I make donuts and pizza's. I enjoy cooking, and love feeding people. So, feeding the public is more fun than work.

I am caretaker for my 88 year old Mother. By the grace of God, my Mother is able to live independently, but needs assistance. She is the light of my life, although she can be a stinker at times also. We are fortunate to have a great relationship though, and I'm hoping she lives for many more years.

I live in the country, and own several cats, and seven dogs. Yes, I love animals also. No breed in particular, like my dolls, I just love them all. We have a mixed bag of pets. We have lived on...what we call, "The Farm" for over 25 years. During that time, we have had a menagerie of pets...ranging from horses, pigs, cows, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, baby raccoons, foxes, skunks, to ferrets and bunny rabbits, and everything in between. One of my favorite pets, was my son's six foot ball python snake. He was a charmer, and very sweet!

My daughter grew up to be a Veterinarian, and I like to think it was because we had so many animals for her to practice on through the years.

Now that my husband, and I are alone, we concentrate only on dogs and cats as pets. They are easier for us to care for.

I think that pretty well sums it up for me. That's my life! Thanks for reading.

to express myself in ways I could never speak.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I read Stephen King, although I don't write horror. I like to watch chick flicks, and I listen to country music. Kenny Rogers is my all time favorite entertainer!

My first job ...

was babysitting. Then I went on to work at Sears in the catalog departmartment, taking catalog orders.

My best moment ...

Giving birth! Nothing can compare to Motherhood.

My inspiration ...

My sister in law, she taught me about loving and forgiving.
