One can't really be critical of any person, famous or not, who takes a child, who might otherwise be relegated to living in poverty and suffering, and provides a home for him or her, where the quality of life will be vastly better for them. I believe it all depends upon the motive of the individual celebrities who choose to do foreign adoptions.
