: About Me

I have been writing for many years now and in various mediums such as magazines, programs, flyer production and book formats. I actually have two published books already, "Seagulls" and "Buzzing Through The Years, the History of Newark High School." I am currently in negotiations for a third book contract with a museum. I enjoy writing and have for as long as I can remember.

I have been an accountant, hair stylists, waitress, manager, owned my own business, and even worked as a nurses aide in my long history of jobs however I always come back to writing. I look forward to adding articles on Helium and building my skills even more. I'll be writing short articles here on many different subjects and look forward to this new adventure.

I have two grown children, a son and a daughter and live in our family home of 100 years now. I'm currently 47 years old and single by choice. I'll get a picture up soon for anyone who would like to see the person behind the words.

If I had one more day with my dad, I would want that day to be a warm summers day with a gentle breeze blowing and he and I sitting on the old porch glider with him sharing his infinate wisdom with me once again. We have spent many lazy summer days sitting on that old green glider with dad sharing with me the secret to happiness, the wisdom of the world, the secrets of men, and how to be happy in this world. I would simply wish for one more day to sit with him and ask him just a few more questions. One of the first questions I would ask him would be 'why did God or what ever greater power ...
