The only thing I have learned from parenting two teenage girls,(with another one reaching the teens in 10 yrs) is that nothing I say or do is going to help them.
I don't recall it being that hard on me when I was that age. Have times changed that much? Trying to be understanding is difficult because I really don't understand some of the things they are so concerned about. Clothes and possessions weren't that important to me when I was 13. Boys? They were okay but somewhat bothersome. Okay to play a game of kick ball with.
