: About Me

I was born in New York City. I ended up in great Northwest after my grandparent's decided to retire in Seattle area. This led to an exodus  on this whole side of my family and I was too young to make a fuss.

When I was younger I spent great deal of time on the beach and in coffee shops writing poetry and dreaming up short stories. I still do these things today, but I am intellectually against doing so on Helium. I think the rating system to be inadequate as a real judge for quality in the creative writer's world. I also found trying to force a poem into a title to be completely unfair to my own original intent. A few examples of my poetry do exist on Helium and I am proud on their content. I hope anyone reading this will take a peak.

Today I write simply because I always have. My biggest strength and my biggest weakness is the need to be a perfectionist.  Even though there is an emotional perk in seeing one of my articles achieve the front page, or land in the first slot for a title, I have learned my own idea of perfection is often very different than those around me.
