About me - LR Swartz

About me

I am an Air Force brat that roamed the US with my father for 16 years while he was in the military. My father decided to settle down in rural town in Central PA where I graduated high school. I then attended a local private university. Here, I earned a BA in History and then entered the work field. My experience is unlimited, I have worked for a social service organization, I have worked in food service, I have worked in retail and commercial sales. I have held an elected position on the local level, I worked for a music industry for a time when my last position was eliminated due to downsizing, I went back to school and earned my teaching certification in Social Studies with a minor in Political Science. I took time off and then returned for a MA in Diplomacy. While earning my degree here, I was teaching as an adjunct for a top technology school. Since then, I have joined on with two very good accredited on-line learning institutions and love teaching teaching at both places.

History and politics are my passion. Freelance writing is new to me and this will give me the arena to express my views and be judged by my peers in the same areas I am interested in.
