I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2001 with a B.S. in Marketing. I work in outside sales for a large corporation. I am a basketball coach and a writer for our local paper.
Writing has become a passion of mine in my late 20's. In my youth I was too busy to explore my desire to write. If I wasn't playing sports, I was studying (just in case my parents see this), or out at the bar with my friends.
Hurricane Katrina struck my area of Louisiana and provided a new outlook on society and life.
I am always amazed, every single day when I look at this complex world we live in.
I plan to finish my first novel by the end of the year. I hope that all of the hard work and research gives at least one person something to talk about.

I arrive at this familiar place at 7am. The group has already made their way to the oak tree, a place that has become distinguished to us all. The sun is yet to defeat the morning haze and my ankles are wet from the dew. Several of the men are arguing, several are telling lies, but most are taking in the moment. A diverse group of people from every walk of life meet here weekly with a common goal, an escape. Doctors, lawyers, teachers, students and factory workers gather here...
