My name is Michael Myron. I have 30+ years experience in the hospitality, restaurant management and travel related industries. I have lived at Grand Canyon National Park for the last 23 years working for Xanterra Parks & Resorts in a variety of positions including Sales & Marketing, Computer operations, Food & Beverage, Purchasing, and Transportation services. Prior to coming to the park I worked as a travel agent and during a brief break as an officer aboard the Regal Princess cruise ship. Each position has built upon my previous experiences to provide a well-round operational understanding in today's highly competitive hotel industry. In my free time I received my Bachelors degree of Sacred Theology and was ordained as in Independent Old Catholic Priest in 2004.
My love to travel has been with since the days of being a travel agent in the early 1980's. I take every opportunity to travel to new places, learn of current and ancient culture whether it be exploring Mayan Ruins in the Yucatan of Mexico or the Vatican Museum in Rome.
There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting and discussing various subjects with friends and family. Conversations run from religion to politics, from the economy to anything related to travel. Enjoy finding bargain trips for friends and am coordinating a cruise out of Venice, Italy to Turkey and the Greek Isles for late 2010. This trip will bring friends and others from across the United States to visit wonderful destinations in Italy, Croatia, Turkey and Greece ending in Rome.

President Obama has made health care reform a priority for his administration. This is reminiscent of the early days of President Clinton's administration when then the first lady Hillary Clinton was charged with looking for ways to resolve the health care issues facing America.
