About me - Dennis Whitlock

About me

I feel, to truly say anything about myself. I would have to tell you the story of my whole life. To bring about the true understanding of who, what and why I am. With so many twists and turns, bumps and bruises, highs and lows. I imagine it would fill a good sized book. Some of those twists and turns have shown me things, I do not hear to many others talking about. For I have seen some things most would not talk about, in fact would even scare some enough to never go out again into the night.

But to tell any story in short form, never truly brings out all the passions. Of all the hows, what, wheres and whys of anyones life. To understand the fears, dread nor thrills anyone has about things. Perhaps opposite to how you would feel about the same things. To know a persons whole life, is to know why they feel what they feel about anything. So to say anyone is anything specific, is to lock down that person into an image or thought that is hard to shake.

So I really do not like to put titles on me nor anyone else. Really on anything that might lock anything or anybody into any title. I walk as far to the right, as I do to the left. I believe most people in the world are this way, but get to hooked up on one or two issues that lock them into what the world sees as their core belief's. But more then likely most would be far from the truth. We are much more complicated creatures than the press or politicians think, nor would like us to be.

We only seem to be, on any given day. The image we set out for ourselves, on the mask we choose to wear that day. One day a philosopher, the next a man of God, maybe a recluse, a bum; a good nor bad spirit. Whatever the mood of the day brings forth. Don't get me wrong, I love the true nature of all that is good in everybody, even though most do not show it. Still I try to smile at everyone, while always in the back of my mind, wishing and hoping for the good in us all to shine through those masks each and every day.

I pray that the good in everything, never dies. With all the hundreds of billions of planets out there just like Earth in this great vastness of wonder we live in. My hope and prayers are that God creates nothing he throws away. But finds a place for it to be happy and flourish, somewhere, anywhere. Not that I know this to be true, its just hopes and dreams of mine.
