About me - C Davison

About me

I am retired, and have been writing since I was a young child. I began with poetry but have also written two books, one of which I self published. I believe I will always write as there is nothing I would rather do.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

life in most all of it's forms, and unspoiled natural B.C.

I know too much about ...

nothing, and not enough about everything!

My parents always told me ...

Mother - "I can hardly wait till you're gone" : Father - "Don't listen to your mother."

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a writer with purpose.

My favorite memory ...

is the first time a stranger read my work and laughed out loud.

Why I write ...

I write because it is the gift I was given.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I read varied authors, love Koontz; I enjoy Boston Legal, Two and a Half Men, Larry McMurtry adaptions; and mostly listening to my husband who can play any style of almost any instrument.

My first job ...

was McDonald's - want fries with that?

My best moment ...

is easily the birth of my daughters.

My inspiration ...

comes from some people, but mostly nature/wildlife/homelife.
