I am a mother of three and grandmother of two. My son is in the US Navy, serving on the Nimitz. My youngest daughter is in college. My oldest daughter is mostly a stay at home mom with a few odd jobs now and then. Proud of them all.

Autos > Autos (Other) Are toll roads really necessary?

The state of Tennessee has recently passed legislation to pave the way for toll roads in the state. This weighs heavily on my mind, which may be because my husband and I are truck drivers. We own our truck and all the expenses are our responsibility. Toll roads are not necessary. The money acquired from fuel taxes, etc should fund the roads. If the money is being diverted to other uses, it should be put back. If there is not enough being collected through the taxes, increase the taxes. Then use the money for what it is meant to be used for. If we need more money for schools, raise property ...
