The Reset Heart It's there again ... that stabbing, searing pain. It comes in waves that threaten every peace. It comes in dreams and thoughts and smells and taste; Repeating, lingering, on reason's edge! I close my eyes, the searing light invades my soul. I open them and darkness betrays my spirit. Awake and my mind seeks the slavery of sleeping; Asleep and my dreams seek the freedom of daybreak Is the passage of time my only recourse; Is there a salve to my pain I can't see?
