Wife to hubby Larry for 25 years.
Former cosmetologist & dental assistant, present status of wife & homemaker, favorite of all occupations. Nov 7th, 2009, My husband and I were blessed to clebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, It was one of the most special days of our lives. We thank God for the 115 guest of family and firends who joined us for this special celebration.
My writing through the years has been merely for pleasure, to recapture memories of yesteryear, to prepare a devotion of which I've given to different ladies and church related functions, as well as workshops, and lady's retreats, and in preparing for teaching of young people in church for the past 15 years.
With encouragement from friends, I entered a state homemakers cultural arts contest, it was a pleasure to win 2nd place, two respective years, one in the memories category, the other in short story.
Two of my short stories have been printed the Kentucky Explorer magazine.
I've been told there's a story or two in everyone if they'll just write it down.

Snowed In. It was February 13, 1985, and my new hubby of just three months was very busy getting ready to leave for work on the second shift. He was security police at the army depot near us, about 10 miles from our home.
