Pa was a very gentle soul and I loved him dearly. His hugs were like being wrapped in a big warm and fuzzy blanket, and I always felt so safe in his embrace. When I was six years old my family had moved to another city and my grand-parents came from South Africa just to take care of me while my parents got settled in their new jobs.
