About me - Vicky Cheshire-Wade

About me

With over 25 years of experience as an Editor of a publishing company, I have varied experience as a writer, everything from short stories and articles to instructional books and natural herbal information. I'm looking for good ghost writing projects and article assignments.

Common Sense has played a major part of my 67 years of life. My family has a history of longevity. I don't get wound up over any situation, but try to see the humor in life.

Mother of 4, grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 3, retired businesswoman, now writing and doing volunteer work. Married to the same man for over 48 years...a real learning experience.

We live in a rural area, 50 miles from town. We have a goat herd and are very physically active. I've mastered many crafts while raising my family, and continuously consider life as a challenge.

My background is varied, everything from waitress to long haul truck driver, and I can call on my experiences in my writing. I'm currently writing a number of TV scripts for a new family series.

In the media area, I have experience in voicing commercials & PSAs, as well as writing them, and would bring a distinctively pleasant voice to this field. My pioneering spirit has sustained me well as I constantly search for new challenges.

How many women do you know who amputated their husband's toe to save his life? It worked. He's still alive and we are still together.
