Hello all
I am an average (I believe) middle aged American male. By this I mean working class, blue color regular Joe without the frills. I have worked in produce harvests, construction, transportation and management. I am a baby boomer that is not certain what this qualifies one for. I do know that it will net you a constant barrage of fliers and advertisements from retirement organizations and drug companies.
I am a Veteran and currently a member of the American Legion. My service was in a foreign country during a conflict. I will not give the name of that engagement as I do not feel that it gives me a right to compensation or recognition. It was a duty. It does give me insight to the current situation in Iraq and the forces at work there.
I am very concerned about the future of our country. If the people do not get educated soon, I believe that future will be bleak at best. If you think this means I am a good Democrat, your wrong. If you think this means I am a good Republican, your wrong. I hope to be a good American.
I began reading the available material on John McCain weeks ago to determine if he were a worthwhile candidate for President of the United States. I have been looking for a candidate that is a representative of the people. When you're finished rolling around on the floor holding your sides, I will give you my views on this research.
Senator McCain claims to "tell the truth even when it's not what they want to hear." In Michigan the Senator told the under employed people of that state "the automotive manufacturing jobs are not coming back". He should have included in that statement, ...
