Retired after 32 years at a great job, we had a plan so we could live our dreams. Decided to See America while we had most of our health. We have traveled by plane, trains, boats, to hotels and loved to camped. We decided to See America On The Cheap.. As Camp Host ~ ing! I don't mean the tent style either. We did that when we were young with our boys, but now in the new type of "Vacation Homes On Wheels", RVing!
We love nature, so this seems to suit us well. Taking pictures has always been my love. By doing this we have been able to put together stories, from the animals to the people that we have met.
Camping is not like the old days, of getting up early morning to the smell of coffee and breakfast. Everyone now has their little luxury apartments on wheels. But you can still see different places, animals and things.
So most of my input to Helium will be about our True Adventures Across America.

As we joked, when our children were growing up, we hoped for David and Ricky BUT got Beavis and Butthead! Our oldest always was the pouter, the youngest a happy go lucky joking, everything running off his back person. We spent a great deal of time with our 2 boys, taking them camping one weekend each month, 2 weeks twice a year also taking them to Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knott Berry Farm, Sea World, summer camps and too many places to list, so many times a year that they were stick of it!
