About me

Hello World:

My name is Grant Campbell, and I am a retired woodworker with over 50 years experience in virtually all phases of the construction industry.

I have been a lead man, a foreman or a superintendent on almost every job I have worked on, as well as a contractor and the owner of a cabinet shop. Since I retired in 2000, I have spent my spare time building custom stringed instruments.

I would like to pass on some of the knowledge that I have gained through the years as well as some tips, tricks and shortcuts that I have developed, heard about, or stolen from other woodworkers. I think that the best way to do this is through articles and ebooks that I am writing. Some articles I will submit to anyone interested in reading them, while the ebooks will be offered for sale, at reasonable prices. The ebooks will be much more in depth, and will be illustrated. Anyone interested in the ebooks willl find them on CD's in my eBay store, http://stores.ebay.com/Kitchen-Elf-Products

I have recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Broward County Audubon Society, and my duties include writing press releases, opinion pieces and letters about various environmental advocacies embraced by BCAS.

My secondary passion has always been environmental advocaccy, but since my installation, it is becoming primary.

Waste water can be treated for use as "grey water" which is used for irrigation, industrial uses, cooling and washing items such as autos and farm equipment and buildings. It can be further treated to become a source of potable water. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has passed legisl...
