My family arrived in Texas during the last year of the Republic and I consider myself a Texan before anything else. "All Hat and No Cattle 'Texans'" keep the smirk on my face.

When drinking, I prefer straight bourbon whiskey. (If you considering sending me a barrel, make mine the white oak charred barrel taste of "Old Crow" rather than the expensive, Madison Avenue brands.)

There is no subject that I consider taboo and my "ego armor" is critic proof, so feel free.

I earned a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. My minors were Journalism and History. I also hold a Master Texas Peace Officer Certification and Texas Peace Officer Instructor License.
