Edna Houston's first story in print appeared in 1962 in the now defunct Amazing Stories. Her short stories have also appeared in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine and in Omni.
After a long hiatus to concentrate on marriage and family, she has now returned to her first love, writing.
She currently lives in Northern California's wine country with her son, two cats and various other critters', where she has made the transition from short story to long form and is working on her current novel.
