I was born in Chicago in 1975.I attended a bunch of schools in the Chicago area.And before I ever wrote a news article I was a teenage kid trying to write song lyrics and screenplays.I graduated Highschool out in Williston,Vermont and I graduated college at Adelphi University out in Gardencity,NewYork back in 2000.I have a B.A. in American History.I also worked as a volunteer on both Barack Obama and John Kerry's Illinois state Presidential campaigns.Since returning to Chicago.Besides politics which I mostly write articles about here on Helium.I also like all types of music,Rock,Hip-Hop, and R&B.As well as sports,especially Basketball.And two of my favorite movies of all time are "The Shawshank Redemption".And "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest."
