Hi! First and foremost, I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful daughters. This job would be enough for anyone I am certain and most moms would probably agree. However, I am also a children's book author and illustrator, work the stereotypical 9 to 5, 40 hour a week job. (wiping the sweat from my brow)
I grew up in New York, married my hubby straight out of high school and attended college in Tennessee. I write constantly, either in blogs or scattered notebooks that are always around my house and car. I'm also an active participant in my local chamber of commerce, elementary school's early literacy committee, and Girl Scouts.
I like long walks in the rain....oh wait wrong site,lol. I hope to be able to take the time to post articles here on Helium, as well as read and rate them.

Remember when being a soccer mom actually meant you were a mom whose child was involved in soccer? Now a day, a "soccer" mom is the title we women get if we are involved in any aspect of delivering and picking up the children, watching and rooting at the games, taking care of refreshments or even taking on a leadership role in the activity.
