Words, words, wonderful words they are the raw materials of my job. Left to my own devices I create short stories and novels (written in a pseudonym) and TV and feature film scripts, written in my real name, Laurie Clayton. I've been lucky enough to have some success in both arenas.
CBC Radio was my home away from home for quite a few years; I'm fast, accurate, well-informed and personable, in large part due to my experience with the corp.
As the in-house writer for a community college, I wrote everything the college required. This included promotional material, brochures and educational dramas. Editing and proofreading course material, including manuals, was a large part of my job.
I'm an educated, intelligent wordsmith with a killer eye for detail. I've never missed a deadline. My abilities are wide-ranging and adaptable, whether you're looking for creative input or simply a perfectly written, error-free finished product. I'm fast, accurate, imaginative and thorough.
