: About Me

I am a long time member of Helium, having been here through numerous changes to the site and have decided to come back full time after realizing how much I truly enjoyed the community.

I am a published author of a book on Outside Sales.  I am looking to publish two other books, one on day trading, and a book of fiction that I have dreamed of publishing for years.  I'm definitely not a professional writer by any stretch of the imagination, but I do enjoy it.  It allows me to enter a world of my own creation that I can share with others with the ultimate joy being their satisfaction from reading what I assembled. 

I am no longer in the military.  I'm now a small business owner with far too much free time as I made my business just a little too efficient.  I am absolutely obsessed with travel and spend a great deal of my time visiting new locations.  Since I can run my business from anywhere it allows me the freedom to truly enjoy life and I try to take advantage of it while I can.

I am a named Hash House Harrier.  If you don't know what this means, then you probably aren't one of the hundreds of thousands of members worldwide.  I am also a regular pickle ball player, which is a sport that I have determined was created for out of shape old people.  I got into the sport because dominating out of shape old people is a secondary sport for me.  Unfortunately, I realize that I do a whole lot more running around the court than they do and I also do a lot more losing than they do as well. 

I am also into extreme sports.  I love to snowboard, whitewater raft, skydive, and anything else that gets the blood flowing.  I truly believe that we have a life to live and we need to really push it to the limits.  I also enjoy camping, fishing, and anything else that puts me too close to animals I probably have no business being around. 

My passion is ...

travel. I love to experience new people and places.

I know too much about ...

eating cookies and cheesecake. Unfortunately, it usually ends with me running 10 miles to make up for it.

My parents always told me ...

that if I were a girl I would have fetched a better price on the black market. No, really! I love my parents!

My childhood ambition ...

Find a way to get the square peg into the round hole.

My favorite memory ...

when I was a young child living in Cuba I remember throwing my clothes in the dumpster, covering myself in powder, and playing casper. Still don't have good justification for doing this.

Why I write ...

no better way to relieve stress.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I really can't multi-task. When I'm on Helium I can only do Helium.

My first job ...

Drawing really bad pictures and selling them to the neighbors

when I finally finished my book... no matter how horrible it is.

Capri has become one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in all of Italy. With some of the most breathtaking views, blended with wonderful culture, and history, it's not all that hard to understand why.
