Greetings from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado! As the new Sub Channel Steward for Winter Sports, I am committed to improving the ski and snowboard articles on Helium. Why am I qualified to do this? Read on!

I am the owner of Mountain Sport Pilates and Fitness, a sports conditioning personal training service in Summit County, Colorado. Having spent over 25 years in the fitness industry, I have achieved the status of Master Instructor Trainer for Fitour.com. As such, I have been featured on various radio and television shows.

During the winter, I work as a skier surveyor at Copper Mountain. This season, I became the first skier to work as a mentor for the Snowboard Outreach Society, soon to become the Snowsport Outreach Society! My husband is a ski instructor at Breckenridge.

Throughout the year, I work as a tour guide for the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance. I am also the author of a number of print and ebooks, including

My ski, fitness and travel articles have been published in Aspen Magazine, HerSports, The Professional Skier, Pregnancy Magazine, Wired Magazine and other print and online publications. When I'm not skiing or working out, I like to travel all over the globe! My journeys have taken me to destinations throughout North America, Eastern and Western Europe, The Caribbean, South America and The Middle East. Additionally, I spent most of my life in New York City and nine years in Boston.

In August of 2007, I spent a week teaching ski fitness at Portillo, Chile. I have also worked as the ski fitness coach for the Epicski Academy, a four-day ski clinic that features some of the top coaches in North America.
