My first thought on helping them to get a job: tell them to get their butt out there and find one, and only when they have exhausted every resource, connection, and interview they have, help them find one through your own resources. If you are a parent that has a young child, this article is for you too. As your child grows, encourage them to build their resume by participating in leadership opportunities, sports, and clubs.
